I am doing a project and l have to state how snakes adapt to their environment.

How do snakes adapt to the grasslands

Grassland snakes are usually the color of the ground and grass around them. Most ground snakes live in grasslands because they can stay underground when its hot out and field mice travel through tunnels that connect to the snakes tunnel. Extra easy food.

How do snakes adapt to the grasslands

Well for one thing, snakes almost always are colored to blend in with their natural surroundings and avoid predators. Because snakes are quiet and keep such a low profile, grasslands are an ideal hunting/hiding area for them.

Hope that helps!
